“Amazon Channels” offers viewers convenient “drop/add” features of TV ala carte.

A recent article published by Tom’s Guide delves into Amazon’s latest video offer “Amazon Channels“.  The service moves one step further to what consumers want in a true TV a la carte package.  Key features include the ability to drop/add channels at any time,  free trials of channels to try before you buy and convenient billing tied to Amazon Prime Subscriber information on file.  The service requires no long term commitments, just pay as you go on a month-to-month basis.  Amazon Channels is compatible with a slew of devices (too many to list) so you can stream from wherever, whenever you are on the go.  Amazon offers more than 100 channels in it’s current Television line-up (up from 75 channels in November).  Better known channels include HBO, Showtime,  Cinemax,  Starz, SeeSo, Comic Con HQ,  History Vault & Comedy Central Stand-Up.  Given the immense popularity of Amazon’s e-tail business, the company will no doubt be able to target new customers for it’s ever expanding video service.   Read the full story here:
